I guess this story starts by saying this...it isn't everyday that you attend a Wedding with a College Football Mascot. But when you do...you know its going to be good.
On the gorgeously sunny day of April 26th, 2014, Ashley Wangberg and Adam Prew were getting ready with their respective Bridal Parties to say 'I do' in the historical People's Church in downtown East Lansing. Family and friends from far and wide were gathering in the front vestibule, greeting each other with warm 'Hello's and 'How do you do's, looking forward to the Event that was about to take place.
The Ceremony, held in the main Sanctuary of the Church, welcomed every Guest with floor to ceiling Pipe Organ music, setting the scene perfectly for the Bride, dressed in her Mother's Wedding Gown, to join her Groom in holy matrimony.
With the Reception beginning a few hours later at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, the Bride and Groom (having a great 'When in Rome' mentality) invited their Guests to explore the town where they first met and fell in love.
Following the city exploration, guests were treated to a beautiful Champagne Toast, a magnificent dinner, late night dancing and last (but definitely not least) the legendary partnership of cake and ice cream.
So what is the perfect end to the perfect day? Having Sparty stop by for a photo op to wish the Bride and Groom 'Congratulations' on their Big Day.
Where are they now?
Ashley and Adam, who live in the Fenton area, will often be found enjoying the company of family or friends, playing board games and enjoying new restaurants. Ashley, who passed the Bar exam not long before her Wedding, is an incredible lawyer, working mainly with businesses and personal assets. While Adam, a lover of the sciences, works in a laboratory in the Flint area, focusing on Personal Toxicology.
It is also my incredible honor to announce that this lovely couple (and now great friends of mine) are expecting their first child, Ryan Lee Prew, in February of 2016.
I am so excited to meet you little one! Your parents are amazing!

"Ashley worked with us on our day-of wedding Coordination. Having Ashley as our go-to person throughout the day was more than helpful. Ashley was more than prepared for all of the unexpected things that are bound to happen on a wedding day and did a great job facilitating our day. With Ashley, we were able to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about the details. Ashley helped keep us on track with our detailed itinerary, but we never had to worry about keeping track of time or the places we needed to be. We would fully recommend Festoons and Flourishes’ services to all couples planning a wedding."
