2014 was known here in Michigan as the Winter of never-ending snow. With record snowfalls of 2 feet in late February and continuing weather of the same variety leading into March, the Winter seemed determined not to stop. Yet, even with all of its might and determination, Winter decided to take a happily-timed break on the chilly but beautifully sunny day of Saturday March 15th.
Full of love, laughter and family, the downtown venue of the Historical Howell Opera House was the perfect setting for the intimate nuptials of Bryanne MacMillan and Ian Green.
The Ceremony, short and sweet, led perfectly into a Reception decorated simply with the couple's personal interests in mind. As Guests were busy stamping their finger prints on the Guest Book Tree out in the window-lined front Lobby, collections of books and calla lilies were brought out to serve as the unique centerpieces for each dining table.
The perfect finishing touch to the room?...a Doctor Who themed cake complete with telephone booth, which (if I might add) was completely delicious.
Where are they now?
Ian being originally from Fenton and Bryanne coming to this country from Canada, they decided after their Wedding to settled in the Ann Arbor area of Washtenaw County. Ian is currently studying Law at the University of Michigan with the desire to concentrate on Immigration, while Bryanne works as a Children's Area Associate at the Health and Wellness Center at Washtenaw Community College. However, when they are not working, you will often find them out and about living Life to the fullest by discovering new experiences all around the country and scouring local foodie meccas for their next culinary adventure.
So, in the spirit of discovery and adventure, I raise my glass to both of you. May you never stop loving, discovering, playing and laughing. It has been an honor to come to know each of you and was a privilege to be there the Day your Wedding...in my opinion, the perfect beginning to one of your greatest adventures.
May it never stop surprising you.

"We hired Ashley about a month before our wedding. We realized there were just some tasks we would not be able to do on our wedding day on our own and we didn’t want to put them on our family. She was extremely accommodating, working with us in the short amount of time to get everything together for our big day. She helped settle our last minute unrest with our vendors, so that we knew the day of, she would make sure everything was set up exactly as we’d pictured it. Our wedding day, she was everywhere, from setting up our décor and organizing our vendors, to tying me into my dress when no one else could figure out how. Having Ashley coordinate our big day was the best decision we made…and helped us relax and enjoy ourselves, knowing everything was in capable hands!"
Check out their amazing Vendors!
